Senior Electrical Engineer; Power Systems

About the Role

This role will form part of the core professional group and will contribute strongly to the overall design capability of the team. The position is project focused and involves engineering design for the mining, minerals processing and utility sectors. The experience we are seeking includes the capability to take on a variety of roles within a project from the design and planning stages right through to finalisation and delivery.

Your career to date will ideally have included the following:

• Project design experience ideally in minerals processing applications, power generation, power distribution/transmission or the utility sector.
• High voltage engineering design.
• Power line design.
• Experience in a consulting capacity.
• Experience with power simulation software.
• A willingness to perform site work and commissioning and to travel to remote locations is also required.
• This position will provide the opportunity to develop skills working in a pro-active, friendly team environment that specialises in innovative electrical engineering design.

• Electrical Engineering Degree, recognised by Engineers Australia.
