Perth Children’s House is excited to hire a Montessori Lead Lower Elementary teacher to work in our Elementary Montessori Program.

Perth Children’s House Montessori School (Casa Program) was founded in 1974 by a dedicated group of parents in the Perth area who decided that their children, and their community, needed another option for early education. Perth Children’s House is located in beautiful downtown, heritage Perth and continues to be a parent-run organization where parents enjoy taking an active role in the school.

Our school is dedicated to providing a nurturing and inspiring learning environment for our students.

In September 2020, Perth Children’s House expanded by opening a second location. Since then, the school has purchased its own facility on five beautiful acres just outside of Perth.

We now proudly offer a comprehensive Elementary Montessori program, which includes Lower Elementary, Upper Elementary, and a Junior High program known as Erdkinder.

We are seeking a dedicated and highly motivated Lead Lower Elementary Montessori Guide to oversee daily operations of a Montessori classroom, ensuring a balance of delivering academics and grace and courtesies for the child. This individual will possess excellent communication skills with all students, families and staff. The ideal candidate will convey strong leadership skills, excellent classroom management abilities, and a passion for fostering a collaborative work environment where the child is seen as capable and competent.

As a Lead Montessori Guide, you will play a crucial role in guiding your assistant, building a sense of community within the families of the organization and maintaining high quality operational standards.

• Responsible for the day to day operations of the Lower Elementary classroom, and leading the classroom assistant.
• Collaborate and coordinate daily activities for students and team members to ensure efficient workflow.
• Responsible for the day to day presentation to the students honoring the Montessori Pedagogy.
• Communicate effectively with team members to address any concerns or challenges that arise during shifts.
• Maintain organizational standards by ensuring cleanliness, safety, and compliance with company policies.
• Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and collaboration among staff members.

• 5 years experience in a Montessori Lead position.
• Strong organizational abilities, time management skills to prioritize tasks
• Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously.
• Basic computer skills for administrative tasks and reporting purposes.
• First Aid
• Provide List of Immunization
• Excellent communication and personable one on one skills
• Seasoned guide who is confident in leading a classroom

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 per year

Schedule: Hours of work:
Will be 8:30am to 4:30pm, Monday to Friday 37.5 hrs/wk

Education:

Secondary School (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

Montessori Certification (required or desire to further studies in Montessori)
