Project sites located throughout the Greater Vancouver Area.

• The Foreman role may be filled by a Pipelayer, Labourer, or Heavy Equipment Operator.
• Review project scope with the Superintendent and execute key work activities while remaining hands‑on in the field.
• Support the Superintendent in planning, organizing, and coordinating daily activities of crews, subcontractors, and equipment.
• Lead, mentor, and motivate crew members while demonstrating strong team values and work ethic.
• Coordinate manpower and equipment requirements in collaboration with site supervision.
• Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and project‑specific environmental requirements.
• Participate in project closeout activities to support successful completion.
• Document relevant project information including site conditions, workforce matters, and scope changes.
• Review grade sheets for accuracy and completeness.
• Review and submit electronic timekeeping on a daily basis.
• Maintain a strong safety‑first mindset and promote safe work practices on site.
• Report unsafe conditions, incidents, injuries, and near misses and participate in investigations as required.
• Attend and actively participate in toolbox talks and safety meetings.
• Comply with company policies, procedures, and all applicable occupational health and safety regulations.

• Minimum 3 years of experience in a Foreman role.
• Strong background in underground construction, including sewer, watermain, or utility work.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications, schedules, and basic cost reports.
• Solid understanding of construction methods, sequencing, and safety practices.
• Comfortable using mobile devices and digital tools in the field.
• Demonstrated reliability, initiative, and strong work ethic.
• Extensive knowledge of equipment operation, utilization, and maintenance.
• General understanding of contracts, asset utilization, and job costing.
• Required certifications including:
  • CSTS
  • Ground Disturbance
  • Confined Space
  • First Aid
  • Flagger Training
  • WHMIS
• Valid driver’s license.
• Self‑motivated and able to work with minimal supervision.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively with crews, supervision, and subcontractors.
• Proven problem‑solving and decision‑making abilities.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a larger project team.
• Must be legally eligible to work in Canada (no work permit sponsorship available).
• Heavy Equipment Operator Foremen will be required to join Operating Engineers Local 115.
• Labourer Foremen will be required to join LiUNA CSWU Local 1611.
