Customer Service Associate

Overview

We are seeking a Customer Service Associate I to join our team at Dollar Tree Stores. The role focuses on delivering a great shopping experience for every customer.

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations
• Manage sales transactions at the assigned cash register
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks; stock replenishment in line with productivity standards
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment with professional and friendly interactions
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the store, including bathrooms, floors, and trash removal; keep areas neat and presentable
• Other duties as assigned

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hospitality, grocery, or related environments is highly preferred
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents
• Physical ability to lift 30–50 lbs., frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
