Engineering Facility Technician

Pay

$65.00/hr

• Perform repairs, preventative and emergency maintenance for all facilities equipment including various electrical and mechanical systems.
• Complete documentation including logbooks, work orders, and purchase requisitions.
• Accomplish preventive and corrective maintenance on facilities support systems.
• Develop processes and system procedures to ensure 24/7 operation with minimal downtime.
• Perform cleanroom cleaning in accordance with a contamination control plan.
• Occasionally participate in on‑call rotation and work extended hours if required.
• Make recommendations for operational improvement for facility systems.
• Follow Safety, Health, and Environmental policies and procedures.
• Execute testing of critical facility systems.
• Setup and operate test equipment to evaluate performance of critical facility systems under simulated operating conditions, record results, and provide data/quality records at project reviews.
• Perform operations and maintenance tasks that encompass the maintenance, repair, and operation of the critical facilities systems utilized during spacecraft processing.

• Active TS/SCI clearance.
• High School diploma and minimum 4 years of prior relevant experience.
• Communicate orally and in writing in a clear and concise manner.
• Read, understand, and work from Standard Operating Procedures, electrical drawings, and Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs).
• Able to supervise contractors and vendors performing work in the facility as needed.
• Capable of walking and moving around the job site.
