This role is ideal for someone who blends technical expertise with strong organization, customer service, and teamwork.
What You'll DoOperations & Maintenance
Coordinate and execute day‑to‑day maintenance operations across the property
Assign, monitor, and complete work orders, apartment turns, and preventative maintenance
Diagnose and repair issues related to HVAC, electrical, plumbing, appliances, carpentry, drywall, pools, and exterior structures
Inspect apartments before move‑in, after move‑out, and following turns to ensure quality standards are met
Respond promptly and professionally to resident maintenance requests
Conduct daily inspections of common areas, amenities, and property grounds
Manage vendors and contractors while ensuring competitive pricing and quality workmanship
Leadership & Oversight
Supervise and support maintenance team members as assigned
Maintain strong, ethical vendor relationships
Ensure work is completed within operating budget guidelines
Administrative & Compliance
Enter, track, and close work orders accurately in Yardi
Generate maintenance‑related reports as needed
Follow all safety, preventative maintenance, and regulatory programs
Ensure all interactions comply with fair housing and anti‑discrimination laws
3+ years of property maintenance, building maintenance, or related trade experience
Strong skills in carpentry, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and appliance repair
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Ability to prioritize tasks and adapt quickly in a changing environment
Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and basic computer systems
Willingness to participate in on‑call rotation for after‑hours emergencies
Ability to stand, walk, climb, and lift 100+ pounds
Regular use of tools and maintenance equipment
Continuous visual, verbal, and auditory communication
Stable, full‑time role with growth potential
