Starting Hourly Rate: $17.00 USD per hour
Pay Range: $17.00–$25.50 USD per hour

You can work as much or as little as you like as an On‑Demand Team Member (TM). Your schedule may vary depending on shift availability and store needs. This role is ideal for those looking for a personalized work schedule. As an On‑Demand TM you will not be posted on the weekly schedule; instead, you choose your shifts through the myTime mobile scheduling app.

Reliable and prompt attendance is essential. We expect you to pick up and work shifts at least every four weeks (minimum of four hours). If you do not respond to our attempts at contact, or do not work at least one shift within five months, your employment may be terminated. Should you be offered a position, you must attend a Target Welcome orientation and complete a short‑term structured training schedule.

• Guide guests on using Wallet and other features of the Target App.
• Attempt all returns and follow register prompts; partner with leaders as needed.
• Partner with leaders to de‑escalate situations and recover the guest experience.
• Provide easy and accurate service to Order Pick‑Up, Drive‑Up, and Registry guests.
• Maintain a clean, clutter‑free work area.
• Stock supplies during store hours while available for guests.
• Demonstrate a culture of ethical conduct, safety, and compliance.
• Work safely at all times; comply with all safety policies and report hazards.
• Support compliance for services such as OPU, DU, DU Returns, and adult beverage laws.
• Support Cash Office processes as needed, including cash system management.
• Perform other duties based on business needs.

• Effective communication using positive language and attentiveness to guests’ needs.
• Ability to remain focused and composed in a fast‑paced environment and accomplish multiple tasks.

• Attention to detail while multi‑tasking.

• Accurately handle cash register operations, transactions, and support cash office operations.
• Lift and move merchandise efficiently, including up to 10 lb and occasionally up to 44 lb.
• Flexibility to pick up shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Respond to contact attempts; work at least one shift within five months.
• Comfortable with varying temperatures, humidity, and other elements while performing job duties.
• Remain mobile throughout the scheduled shift.
