Power Wellness is growing and has leadership opportunities for full-time Center Directors. In this role, you will provide leadership to the team through direct accountability of the development, operations, programming, and marketing of the wellness center. Responsibilities
  • Lead the center team through direct accountability of the development, operations, programming and marketing of the wellness center, aligning with the center’s strategic direction and goals.
  • Provide leadership, supervision and support to all center employees.
  • Ensure compliance with all Power Wellness policies and procedures to maximize operational efficiencies and minimize risks.
  • Collaborate with Human Resources to ensure appropriate staffing and compliance with HR policies and procedures.
  • Oversee employee disciplinary and termination processes in consultation with HR, following state and federal labor laws.
  • Plan and develop fiscal year operating and capital budgets in cooperation with Operations, Power Wellness and client accounting.
  • Manage center operations within the approved operating budget and contribute to monthly, quarterly and annual budget and statistical reports with the Financial Manager and Operations.
  • Develop, implement and evaluate marketing and retention plans with Power Wellness marketing to achieve membership goals.
  • Assist in developing emergency response and building safety policies with ongoing training and drills per MFA guidelines and regulations.
  • Administer medically based programs in coordination with the Medical Integration Department, focusing on wellness needs within the health system and community.
  • Participate in the medical advisory committee (MAC) to provide input on medically integrated programming and ensure engagement with center programs and safety protocols.
  • Represent the center at off-site community events to share information and procure memberships.
  • Flexible and accommodating center hours, work schedules, and appointments for prospects and members.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Qualifications
    • Education: Bachelor’s degree in exercise science, health care/fitness related field and/or business studies required. Master’s degree preferred.
    • Experience: Minimum 3 years in a management position; experience in budgeting, HR development, marketing, retail/membership sales, medical integration and wellness programming preferred.
    • Ability to lead a team and manage multiple projects with strong organizational skills.
    • Certifications: CPR/AED certification required within 90 days of hire (provided by Power Wellness).
    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; ability to work with members in a positive, service-based manner.
    • Ability to multi-task and maintain a professional demeanor with high organizational efficiency.
    • Proficient computer skills.
    • Ability to exercise sound business judgment on HR and administrative matters without supervision.
    • Excellent sales, marketing, writing, presentation and tracking skills.
