• Prepare and maintain histological stains and dilutions in compliance with laboratory protocols
• Process and embed tissue specimens precisely for microscopic examination
• Prepare and section formalin‑fixed, paraffin‑embedded tissue specimens for histological evaluation
• Perform routine and special staining techniques to enhance cellular structures
• Maintain quality control procedures to ensure optimal slide preparation
• Manage the labeling, filing, and storage of histological slides to maintain an organized laboratory environment
• Assist in maintaining laboratory equipment and troubleshooting technical issues
• Document all laboratory data accurately and consistently to meet quality assurance standards
• Participate in training and mentoring new staff members or students as necessary
• Maintain compliance with laboratory safety and regulatory standards as outlined by CLIA and OSHA
• Perform other related duties as required by the laboratory supervisor
• Uphold high ethical standards consistent with the company's mission and values

• Bachelor's Degree in Histotechnology or a related field
• Certification by the American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP) as a Histotechnologist (HTL) preferred
• Previous experience in a histology laboratory setting preferred
• Strong attention to detail and excellent observational skills
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team‑oriented environment

Compensation Range: $24.00 - $37.00 per hour. Final offer will be based on a combination of skills, experience, location, and internal equity.
