Mechanical Project Manager

Autumn Construction Services is seeking an experienced Mechanical Project Manager to lead commercial mechanical construction projects ranging from $100K to $5M (average project size: $850K).

This role oversees projects from pre‑construction through closeout
, ensuring delivery that is safe, profitable, on schedule, and aligned with client expectations.

• Manage piping‑only and full mechanical scopes (HVAC, piping, temperature controls)
• Lead project buy‑out, subcontract awards, and material procurement
• Oversee submittals, shop drawings (2D/3D), and coordination with A/E teams
• Develop schedules, cost tracking, and monthly profit projections
• Estimate and negotiate change orders
• Partner with field teams to keep projects on time and on budget
• Prepare billing, closeout documentation, and O&M manuals
• Build client relationships that generate repeat business

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Engineering, Building Technology, or Construction Management
• 5–10 years of mechanical construction experience
• Knowledge of chilled water, heating hot water, VRF, condenser water, refrigeration, natural gas, medical/lab gas, and HVAC ventilation systems
• Experience with LEED and systems commissioning
• Strong communication and client management skills
• Proficiency in MS Office, Primavera or MS Project, Bluebeam/Adobe, and Procore
• P.E. License (preferred)

• $90,000–$125,000 salary range
