Project Engineer – Local General Contractor

We are seeking a talented and experienced Project Engineer to join our team in the construction industry. This is a unique opportunity to work on diverse projects and make a substantial impact on our company's success.

Base Pay Range: $65,000 / yr – $75,000 / yr

Benefits: ongoing work, vacation time, yearly bonus, benefits/benefit reimbursement.

• Oversee and manage all phases of construction projects from initial planning to completion.
• Ensure projects are completed within the stipulated time and budget.
• Coordinate with various teams including architects, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure smooth project execution.
• Create, implement, and monitor project schedules.
• Regularly review and update project plans and specifications.
• Liaise with clients and stakeholders to keep them informed about project progress.
• Identify potential project risks and implement mitigation strategies.
• Ensure all construction activities comply with safety regulations and quality standards.
• Resolve any arising issues or challenges relating to the project.
• Conduct regular site inspections and prepare progress reports.

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or related field.
• Minimum of 2 years proven experience in a similar role within the construction industry.
• Proficient knowledge of construction methodologies, materials, and industry trends.
• Demonstrated experience in construction management, scheduling, and subcontractor management.
• Excellent project management and organizational skills.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Proficiency in using construction software like AutoCAD, MS Project, Primavera, etc.
• A valid license to work as a Project Engineer.
