Job Summary
The Documentation CSR will be responsible for the day-to-day operation and processes of the export documentation related to our exporting of scrap paper. Duties include but are not limited to the ongoing optimization and coordination of all orders with a focus on a high level of customer satisfaction. There is a high level of interaction with the overseas offices.
Successful candidates will be independent, hardworking individuals who will put the team over self while maintaining a focus on actions that result in positive shareholder return on investment.

Schedule:
Two Days/Week in Lombard Office (Monday and Thursday), with flexibility to come in on other days as needed by the business or coverage.
- Documentation CSR coordinates and monitors export shipments.
- They are the first point of contact for overseas offices, to investigate and solve issues with steamship lines and US bank to avoid demurrage and detention.
- Ensure fulfillment of documentation order requirements to ensure accountability and customer satisfaction, ensuring we deliver documents 100% accurate.
- Deliver timely documents within set guideline parameters depending on the market area.
- Follow up with overseas offices and US bank for prompt issuance/posting of L/C’s (Letters of Credit).
- Engage freight and logistics team to address any issues to minimize costs due to logistics or routing issues.
- Develop a good interactive business relationship with shipping lines and logistics team and other internal departments.
- Keep the team up to date on status of documents on document tracking and keep ongoing communication with coworkers and overseas offices.
- Attend and contribute to periodic meetings to maintain favorable working relationship among team, promoting morale, sharing knowledge, productivity and efficiency.
- Engage with supervisor and team lead to analyze workloads and implement strategies to set expectations to accomplish goals.

This job has no supervisory duties.

A.Education and Experience
- Education:
High School Diploma or GED (accredited) - Experience:
Two years of previous experience with shipping, receiving, inventory management and warehousing operations (in addition to education requirement).
- None required.
- Strong understanding of shipping & receiving, inventory and warehousing practices.
- Good verbal and written skills.
- Typing and computer skills – MS Office and inventory / sales-order systems.
- Strong analytical and organization skills.
- Ability to multi-task and to react well under pressure.
- Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner.
- Prioritizes and plans work activities.
- Work efficiently and effectively, both independently and as a team.
- Adapts and able to deal with frequent changes in the work environment.
- Demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness to meet productivity standards in a timely manner.
