Overview
Multi-Unit Team Leader at H&R Block. This role provides leadership over three H&R Block tax offices, guiding customer-centric teams to accelerate seasonal tax business. The position is in-person and part-time starting in the fall, transitioning to full-time January–April with possible evening and weekend hours.
Responsibilities- Provide leadership over three tax offices and lead daily team meetings
- Develop and coach associates; deliver an outstanding client experience; achieve office growth objectives
- Manage office staffing, operations, and logistics with support from Associate Team Leaders
- Partner with the District General Manager (DGM) to create and implement office-level growth plans and client growth targets
- Develop local partnerships and manage office community involvement
- Assist DGM in recruiting and interviewing candidates for tax office positions
- Conduct timely performance reviews and address performance concerns in collaboration with the Associate Relations Center
- Create an engaging, collaborative team environment across all offices
- Prepare associate work schedules, ensure accurate timekeeping, and manage labor across all offices
- Travel between offices as required
- Prepare tax returns as needed, after successful completion of the Income Tax Course or Tax Knowledge Assessment*
- Experience in multi-unit people management in relevant industries
- Ability to create and execute growth plans and drive a growth-focused culture
- Strong decision-making, fast-paced environment adaptability, and minimal supervision
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a customer-centric mindset
- Computer proficiency with MS Office
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field, or a high school diploma with equivalent experience
- Successful completion of the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment or Income Tax Course (if preparing tax returns)*
- People management experience with a track record of developing associates
- Ability to lead growth initiatives and cultivate a growth culture
- Effective communication and teamwork skills
- Strong judgment and decision-making in a fast-paced setting
- Customer-centric mindset and commitment to client satisfaction
- MS Office proficiency

The pay range is listed below and may be subject to local minimum wage laws and other requirements. Individual pay decisions depend on experience, education, skill, performance, and location. Eligible associates may participate in incentive plans and benefit programs.
Pay Range
$15.00 - $40.00/Hr.
