Facility Details: VA Loma Linda Healthcare System (VALLHCS) is actively recruiting to fill a Board Certified or Board Eligible Neurologist to help care for our Veterans – America’s Heroes! The VA Loma Linda Healthcare system is affiliated with Loma Linda University Health Medical School. Teaching of medical students, residents and fellows is an integral part of the position. • Provide all services required in the practice of Neurology in the context of the VA system and maintain clinical privileges.
• Provide appropriate documentation in the electronic record.
• See patients in the outpatient general neurology consult and follow-up clinics.
• Conduct both in-person and virtual outpatient clinics.
• Take calls from the ED as needed.
• Responsible for the oversight of all aspects of neurological care delivered to assigned patients.
• Perform neurologic procedures such as NCS/EMG, EEG interpretation, and/or botox administration commensurate with training and expertise, in accordance with VA credentialing and privileging requirements.
• Supervise and teach neurology residents and medical students during their Neurology rotation.

Preferred: Board Certified Neurologist. General Neurologist experience in both outpatient and inpatient neurology stroke. Interest or additional training in vascular neurology is desirable.

$275,000 – $300,000 per year

Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
