Summary
Are you an Early Childhood Educator who prefers an afternoon schedule and enjoys working with curious, growing toddlers in a calm and supportive environment? Days R Bright Academy is a Quality Rated early learning program seeking a Toddler 1 Teacher to support children during the afternoon portion of the day. This role is ideal for an educator who is nurturing, patient, and confident in toddler routines, transitions, and hands‑on learning.
We offer a structured classroom environment, low ratios, and leadership support—so educators can focus on what matters most: the children.
Schedule
- Monday – Friday
- 1:00 PM – 6:30 PM
Duties
- Support and lead afternoon routines for the Toddler 1 classroom
- Facilitate developmentally appropriate play, learning, and transitions
- Support social‑emotional development and early language skills
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized classroom environment
- Assist with diapering, toileting routines, and daily care
- Communicate respectfully with families and team members
- Follow Quality Rated standards and classroom expectations
Requirements
- Experience working with toddlers in a licensed childcare setting
- Understanding of toddler development and daily routines
- Reliable, punctual, and consistent attendance
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- CPR/First Aid (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to pass required background checks
