Overview
Edith Bowen Laboratory School at Utah State University is looking for a bus driver to drive our K-6 grade students on field experiences. This is an hourly school year position from September – May each year. Working hours are generally as needed Monday – Thursday 8:30 am – 3:15 pm and Friday 8:30 am – 1:00 pm.

QualificationsMinimum Qualifications
- Must have a Class B Commercial Driver License.
- Must have a school bus driver endorsement for K-12 or obtain within 10 days of hire.
- Must be 21 years or older due to licensing requirements.

- Ability to exercise sound judgment.
- Enjoys working effectively with children.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Dependable and punctual.
Job offer is contingent upon the successful completion of a federal background check and a pre-employment drug and alcohol test.

ADAThis position requires the regular operation of a commercial vehicle and the ability to safely perform driving duties in compliance with all applicable regulations. A valid Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) is required. The role involves extended periods of sitting while operating a vehicle, as well as standing, walking, and light physical activity as needed to complete job responsibilities. Work is performed primarily in an enclosed vehicle or indoor environment, with occasional exposure to outdoor conditions, including varying weather elements.
Employees must be able to remain attentive and alert for extended periods while driving and demonstrate sound judgment and situational awareness to ensure safety.
