Overview
The goal of this project is to improve access to health and economic opportunity by strengthening internal systems, documentation, and sustainable outreach infrastructure that support connections between individuals with disabilities and assistive technology that promotes independence, employment, healthcare access, and community participation.
Member DutiesThe VISTA will build the organizational capacity of UATP in the Salt Lake City region by developing sustainable outreach infrastructure, strengthening partnership support systems, and enhancing internal program documentation and processes. These capacity‑building efforts will support long‑term poverty reduction by improving the ability of UATP staff and partner organizations to increase access to assistive technology resources that support employment, education, and independent living outcomes for individuals with disabilities.
