OverviewUtah State University Extension's Expanded Food & Nutrition Education Program (EFNEP) is seeking a qualified individual to work part-time (20-30 hours per week) in a benefitted position. Located in Salt Lake, Davis, Weber, or Utah County.
Responsibilities- Teach nutrition and cooking skills to low-income families and youth. Training and teaching materials will be provided.
Minimum Qualifications
- Basic knowledge of nutrition and food preparation is recommended.
- Willingness to learn, work well with people, keep records, and produce reports.
- Internet access and basic computer skills.
- Must obtain a Food Handlers permit within one month of hire.
- Flexible hours.
- Car and current insurance, valid driver's license or access to transportation to meet with clients. Must adhere to the University Travel and Driving Policies. Mileage will be reimbursed.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish.
