Lil Aggies Classroom Aide

Overview

The Up to 3 program is seeking a part-time employee to assist with classroom activities, setup, cleanup, and overall classroom functioning for children under three with disabilities. Applicants must be available on Mondays and Wednesdays from 11:30 AM to 2:30 PM year-round. The work location will be in Logan, Utah.

The candidate will assist with classroom activities, setup, cleanup, and overall classroom functioning for children under the age of three with disabilities.

Minimum Qualifications

• Experience with young children.
• Effective listener and communicator.
• Dependable.
• Follows classroom procedures and instructions.
• Able to maintain strict confidentiality.
• Cultural awareness and the ability to build positive relationships with individuals from a variety of backgrounds.
• Willingness to learn new skills or techniques.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with young children with disabilities.

$15.00 per hour

The environment and physical requirements may change depending on the specific function of the work each department performs. Incumbents may be in both indoor and outdoor environments. Indoors, in an office space, event space, or public space are protected from weather conditions, but not necessarily from temperature changes. Incumbents may nearly continuously sit and often use repetitive hand motion (such as typing).
