Location:
Logan, Utah. Pay range: $19.00/hr – $26.00/hr.
Responsible for the education of a specific audience regarding the Super Sitter Safety curriculum. Teach/instruct using the approved curriculum for children ages 9‑15 on Saturday mornings once or twice a month (Feb–Nov) and one or two weekday mornings a month during the summer.
Shift DetailsPRN on‑call position. Classes are taught at Logan Regional Hospital. Caregiver is employed under Community Education Services at McKay Dee Hospital but sub and teach scheduled classes at Logan Regional Hospital. Annual staff meeting at McKay Dee Hospital is required.
Responsibilities- Teach approved curriculum and review/revise as appropriate.
- Keep materials up‑to‑date and adequately stocked.
- Maintain material and supplies; clean and store appropriately.
- Organize meeting space and set‑up needs.
- Complete all tracking/monitoring documentation.
- Review evaluation forms and other feedback and respond to improve the program.
- Work with supervisor to review overall course and make appropriate revisions to curriculum and class materials at requested intervals.
- Arrive promptly, including time for room and audiovisual preparation prior to classes.
- Come well prepared to teach each session.
- Demonstrated ability to instruct others.
- Demonstrated communication and interpersonal skills.
- Six months previous healthcare field experience.
- BLS Certification
- Childbirth Educator Instructor Certification
- First Aid Instructor Certification
- Fitness Instructor Certification
Uses curriculum, maintains materials, tracks documentation, reviews feedback, collaborates with supervisor, punctual, prepared.
