|  |  || --- | --- || Workplace Location | Logan - Beaudesert |This role plays an important part in delivering high‑quality administrative support, constituent engagement and day‑to‑day office operations for the Scenic Rim community.
** Key Objectives
*** Provide professional administrative support to the Member and electorate office.
* Assist with social media and digital communications and engagement with constituents and community groups.
* Support the efficient operation of office processes and responsibilities.
** Your Role
*** Assist with creating, scheduling and monitoring social media content that reflects local issues, community achievements and the Members priorities.
* Respond to phone, email and in‑person enquiries and provide timely constituent support.
* Draft and prepare media releases, newsletters, community updates and office documents.
* Assist with organising events, meetings and electorate activities.
* Maintain office systems, records, databases and document management processes.
* Assist with digital communication activities, including social media and website updates.
* Undertake research, prepare briefing materials and assist with information requests.
* Support financial and administrative responsibilities in accordance with Parliamentary Service procedures.
* Perform general administrative tasks and other duties as directed.
** What We're Looking For
*** Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage respectfully with the community.
* Excellent organisational skills and the capacity to manage competing priorities.
* Proficiency in office IT systems including word processing, spreadsheets and data tools.
* High attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and recordkeeping.
* A professional, discreet and confidential approach to all information.
* A positive, proactive attitude with the ability to work independently and as part of a small team.
* Experience in administration, communications or community engagement is desirable.
* Knowledge of parliamentary processes is beneficial but not essential.
