Refrigeration Technician

Overview

Refrigerated Mechanical Solutions Inc. (RMS) is hiring experienced Commercial Refrigeration Service Technicians for their Northern California Branch. RMS offers an industry-leading benefits package including medical, dental and 401k options. Travel and paid training are included. The position will encompass construction, installation, repair and maintenance of refrigeration systems.

• Repairing and maintaining reciprocating and screw compressors
• Ability to troubleshoot systems and test components, using electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic testing equipment
• Troubleshoot pump recirculating systems, liquid transfer systems, DX systems, and multi-stage systems
• Perform hot and cold compressor and motor alignments
• Install wiring to connect components to an electric power source
• Test lines, components, and connections for leaks
• Troubleshoot computerized refrigeration control panels and microprocess
• Ability to weld steel and pipe (a plus) but not required

• Ammonia refrigeration: 2 years (Required)

  Relocate before starting work (Required)

• 5+ years of Refrigeration Service Experience Required
• Must possess a valid Driver’s License and clean driving record
• Must have an EPA 608 Universal Card
• Experience with Ammonia a Plus
• RETA Certification (a plus)
• Emergency Response Training (a plus)
