We’re growing fast and looking for a Solar & Inverter Installation Apprentice to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with mechanical or electrical aptitude who wants to specialize in modern RV power and energy systems.

As an RV Solar & Inverter Installation Apprentice, you’ll receive hands‑on training in the design, installation, and service of electrical systems that power RVs both on and off the grid. You’ll work directly with experienced technicians to learn how to properly install and maintain solar panels, charge controllers, batteries, and inverter systems.

Primary

Responsibilities Include:

• Assisting with solar panel installation and roof wiring layouts
• Running and connecting solar and inverter wiring systems
• Mounting and wiring charge controllers and battery monitors
• Installing and configuring power inverters and converters
• Assisting with 12V DC and 110V AC electrical systems
• Testing and troubleshooting electrical connections
• Learning to calculate power usage and system sizing
• Maintaining a clean and organized work area
• Supporting senior technicians with equipment setup and diagnostics

Types of Units You’ll Work On:
Motorhomes, Fifth Wheels, Travel Trailers, Toy Haulers, Horse & Utility Trailers, and Tow Vehicles.

Alliance, Brinkley, Coachmen, Dutchmen, Fleetwood, Forest River, Grand Design, Jayco, Keystone, Newmar, Outdoors RV, Winnebago, and more.

We no longer accept RVs built before 2005 without a pre‑inspection.)

If you have an interest in renewable energy, RV systems, and electrical technology, this position offers the chance to develop valuable trade skills while working on real‑world projects.

• Monday–Friday | 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM

• High school diploma or equivalent (students still in school are welcome)
• Valid driver’s license
• Interest in electrical, solar, or mechanical systems
• Basic understanding of hand tools and wiring (preferred but not required)
• Positive attitude, attention to detail, and willingness to learn
• Desire for long‑term growth and teamwork

We provide in‑house and vendor‑sponsored training, giving you the knowledge and experience needed to succeed in the RV solar and electrical industry. Apprentices gain hands‑on experience under skilled technicians, with opportunities to advance to full technician status as skills and knowledge develop.
