Job PurposeThe Bottling Lead provides daily hands‑on leadership to a motivated team of bottling operators. This role ensures the bottling line operates safely, efficiently, and with top‑tier quality. You’ll guide your team, support smooth line operations, uphold safety and quality standards, and keep production on track from start to finish.
What You’ll Do- Lead, coach, and support a team of Bottling Operators.
- Lead & oversee daily bottling line operations and ensure smooth changeovers.
- Train team members on equipment setup, operation, and basic troubleshooting.
- Maintain accurate production, downtime, QC, and sanitation records.
- Partner with Production, Logistics, and Quality teams on daily workflow.
- Assist with equipment maintenance and collaborate with Mechanics as needed.
- Oversee sanitation requirements and ensure nightly Bottling Line equipment is properly cleaned.
- Ensure product quality meets specifications and resolve issues promptly.
- Foster a positive, safe, team‑oriented work environment.
- Perform other production‑related duties as needed.
- 3–5 years of bottling line or high‑speed production experience.
- Strong people management and team‑leadership skills.
- Excellent time management and ability to prioritize under pressure.
- Experience managing operators and leading production workflow.
- Technical and mechanical aptitude, you understand equipment, troubleshooting, and line flow.
- Basic Microsoft Outlook & Excel skills (entry‑level is okay!).
- Strong reading and writing skills in English for documentation and communication.
- Proven ability to collaborate, problem‑solve, and maintain a positive team culture.
- Forklift experience or certification.
- Winery bottling experience.
- Ability to lift, bend, stand, and perform physical tasks throughout the shift.
- Comfortable working around machinery and at heights.
- Ability to work 10+ hour shifts, extended hours, and up to 6–7 days per week during peak seasons (like Harvest).
