Position: Behavior Technician (BT)

** Entry-level position with PAID training and certification provided**

• Location: Lodi, CA
• Pay: $21.00 - $24.00 per hour, pay increase after you get your RBT certification!
• Job Type: PART-TIME, afternoon availability.
• Work Setting: Home-based care
• Schedule: Monday to Sunday. Afternoon and evening availability required. Preference is given to candidates with availability 2:00-8:00 pm

This position offers a valuable opportunity to explore or start a career in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). You'll support children in developing communication, problem-solving, and social skills. We're hiring entry-level candidates as well as certified Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) who are ready to grow their careers.

What You'll Do

As a Behavior Technician at BTS, you'll work 1:1 with children with autism or developmental delays to build communication, social, play, and daily living skills through structured, play-based activities. Sessions take place in the child's home, clinic, or school, lasting 2-3 hours. We tailor your caseload to fit your availability and match you with age groups you're comfortable with, from toddlers to teens.

Your responsibilities include:

• Delivering one-on-one behavior support through fun, individualized activities
• Implementing behavior intervention plans designed by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs)
• Collecting and recording data on client progress accurately
• Communicating regularly with families to provide updates and support
• Participating in ongoing training, team meetings, and supervision sessions

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 months of experience working with children with neurodevelopmental disabilities, preferably in an ABA or behavioral health setting. Relevant direct-care experience, including supporting children with neurodiverse needs or caring for a family member in a similar capacity, will also be thoughtfully considered.
• Positive, enthusiastic attitude and a passion for working with children
• Spanish-speaking is highly preferred
• Experience with children or individuals with disabilities is a plus, but not required
• Highly preferred: Current student or recent graduate in Psychology, Early Childhood Education, Sociology, Biology, or related field.
• RBT certification is a plus, but we will cover the cost of obtaining it!
• Ability to work independently and communicate effectively
• Reliability and a willingness to work with a variety of clients

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum 18 years of age.
• Experience with children is a plus, but not required.
• This job requires reliable transportation and a driver's license.
