Substitute Teacher
Lodi Unified School District is actively seeking substitute teachers. To apply, please complete the online application and ensure references are from recent supervisors and contact information is current.
Required documents (must attach):

- Two recent Letters of Recommendation from supervisors
Additional documents (if you already possess them, please attach):
- A valid California Credential, or
- A valid 30‑Day Emergency Substitute Permit
We can assist you in applying for a substitute permit if you meet any of the following:
- Possess a BA or BS from a regionally accredited four‑year college or university
- Completion of a minimum of 90 semester units of coursework from a regionally accredited four‑year college or university & verification of current enrollment in a regionally accredited four‑year California college or university & a passing CBEST score or qualifying Basic Skills requirement
Application process is paperless; we will not accept paper applications. Letter of interest, resume, copy of credential or letter from the university verifying date of credential program completion, and letters of recommendation must be submitted online as attachments. Please do not e‑mail any of these items to the Personnel Department.
