Position

Permanent Full‑Time Material Handler – Locust Grove, Georgia.

Ryder is immediately hiring a Material Handler to join our supply chain team. The role involves loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, cycle counting, and paperwork. Safety and efficiency are paramount. The position offers weekly pay, on‑the‑job training, comprehensive benefits, and stock options.

• Perform warehouse functions: loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, cycle counting.
• Adhere to performance measurement guidelines of the contract.
• Accurate picking and packing, auditing, tote induction, staging of products, loading/unloading trucks.
• Handle day‑to‑day paperwork (picking sheets, returns, bills of lading).
• Provide technical and maintenance support for automated packing systems during core shift hour of production.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• One (1) year or more related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience preferred.
• Valid forklift operator’s license.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team; create and maintain professional relationships at all levels.
• Highly thorough, dependable, punctual, and good attendance record.
• Demonstrates high level of accuracy, even under pressure.
• Ability to lift/push/pull up to 35 lbs.
• Ability to stand for long periods.
• Experience with health and safety methods.
• Flexible schedule across various shifts.
• Detail oriented with excellent follow‑up practices.
