As a Security Officer - Hotel Access Control in Locust Grove, VA
, you will serve and safeguard clients in hotels, resorts, and other settings. You will monitor entrances, check credentials, and conduct routine patrols to deter security-related incidents. Your presence and professionalism will support a welcoming environment for guests and staff while delivering exceptional customer service and communication. This is a Part-Time position with the opportunity to build a flexible schedule.

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies at the location, including access control for guests, residents, and authorized personnel.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas to deter unauthorized access within the hotel and resort environment.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly, following established protocols for the location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the property and its perimeter to deter potential security-related concerns.
• Assist with emergency response activities as needed, coordinating with local authorities and Allied Universal management when appropriate.
• Document observations and incidents in detailed reports, maintaining accurate records as required by site-specific policies.
• Communicate professionally with guests, residents, staff, and visitors to address questions and provide assistance related to security-related matters.

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
