Forklift Operator –

Ryder is immediately hiring a permanent full‑time, clamp stand‑up forklift operator. Join a team that values safety, state‑of‑the‑art equipment, and a supportive work environment.

• Hourly pay: $23.00
• Shift pay: $3.00 per hour
• Schedule:
  
  D Shift Thursday–Saturday 6:00 pm–6:00 am;
  Wednesday 12:00 am–6:00 am

• Perform warehouse functions including loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting.
• Maintain accurate picking and packing; audit, tote induction, staging, and truck loading/unloading.
• Manage day‑to‑day paperwork (picking sheets, returns, bills of lading, etc.).
• Provide technical and maintenance support for automated packing systems during core shift hours.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
• One year or more experience in warehouse and/or powered industrial truck operations (preferred).
• Valid forklift operator’s license & certification.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as a team member.
• Team‑player with respect for a diverse workplace.
• Highly thorough, dependable, and punctual with a good attendance record.
• Initiative, accuracy under pressure, and minimal supervision.
• Capacity to lift/push/pull up to 35 lbs, stand for long periods, and work with health and safety methods.
