Customer Service Assistant

Job Summary

Serves as a customer service representative in a call center and provides work order management support for staff/customers.

Canteen Romeoville – 7 Greenwood Avenue, Romeoville, IL 60446. Full‑time schedule:
Monday through Friday, 7:00 am to 3:30 pm. Online applications accepted only.

• Answers the telephone, responds to customer emails and provides general assistance to customers.
• Review and promote service requests submitted by customers.
• Provide clerical support; maintain files and records.
• Prepare routine correspondence, forms and other documents.
• Collect, verify, retrieve and enter data.
• Operate standard office equipment.
• Complete project assignments.
• Assist in the preparation and proofing of materials for reports and other publications.
• Interact effectively with staff, students and faculty while conducting daily workplace duties.
• Communicate with customers to complete work in a cost‑effective, efficient and safe manner.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Deliver needed supplies to field staff in company‑owned van.
• Assist with field market and vending machine product merchandising resets.
• Train and assist customers at grand opening events.

• Valid driver's license.
• Regular lifting of up to 50 lbs.

Pay Range: $20.00 per hour to $22.00 per hour. Internal employee referral bonus available.
