Job Description
The customer service representative (CSR) provides administrative support and assistance to integrated behavioral health, medical, and dental clinics and works in collaboration with clerical support staff for the Federally Qualified Health Center of South-Central Texas. The CSR assists persons in services by scheduling appointments, providing quality customer service, updating demographic information, verifying insurance, obtaining authorization from insurance companies, following up on past due balances, and developing agreements to pay according to center policy.
The CSR works with a team of business support staff to ensure an effective and efficient work environment.
- .75/hour – Bilingual
- 1.00/hour – Tenure with BTCS
- 1.00/hour – Career ladder specialty
- Up to $2.00/hour – previous experience with a community center in a similar
Location:
Lockhart, TX
Hourly Salary Range: $17.30 – $22.05
- High school diploma or GED.
- Strong computer and communication skills.
- Experience in a medical office setting.
- Demonstration of successful work experience regarding regular and timely attendance.
- Must have a valid Texas Driver’s License and maintain approved driver status throughout employment.
- Some college (1-2 years) or an associate’s degree.
- Experience in having financial discussions with clients regarding treatment costs.
- Bilingual.
Salary Amount $35,984.00 - $45,864.00/year
