Overview
Hello I'm Catherine and I am 78 years young. I live with my son about two miles outside Lockerbie, so you'll need a driving license as we're not on a bus route. I have dementia and would love a Personal Assistant to visit for around an hour each day while my son is at work - just to share a cup of tea, a chat and provide a little personal care if needed.
My son works shifts, but his rota is planned eight weeks ahead, so you'll always have plenty of notice.
Responsibilities- Provide a daily visit of around one hour to share a cup of tea, chat and, if needed, offer a little personal care.
- Support with daily routines and companionship while my son is at work.
- Be kind, flexible and reliable; enjoy making a real difference. Must be comfortable with dogs.
- Possibility that hours may increase over time depending on support needs.
- Driving license required due to location; access to reliable transport as we are not on a bus route.
- Right to work in the UK (evidence may be requested if successful).
- Be a member of the PVG scheme (If not already a member, assistance can be provided by the employer).
- Provide names of two referees.
- This role is being performed on behalf of Capability Scotland, which is acting on behalf of the client who is the legal employer.
Pay is negotiable and will be discussed further r time the hours could be raised depending on my support needs.
If this sounds like you, I would love to hear from you!
NotesCapability Scotland is not the employer but is acting on behalf of our client, who is the legal employer.
