Hiring Direct Support Professionals (DSP) and Personal Care Assistants (PCA) in Lock Haven

DSP: $18.00 per hour supporting individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD).
PCA: $14.00 per hour supporting elderly, individuals with physical disabilities, and veterans.

• Assist individuals with light housekeeping, meals, and personal care tasks
• Walk clients and participate in community activities
• Accompany clients to appointments, shopping, or errands
• Empower clients to live independently and be part of the community
• Support IDD clients in achieving goals outlined in Service Plan
• Facilitate community integration, social engagement, and skill-building activities
• Encourage independence, dignity, and choice in daily living
• Engage in team meetings to share insights about client progress
• Maintain safe, clean, and healthy environment through light housekeeping tasks
• Build strong, trusting relationships with empathy and effective communication

• At least 18 years old
• High School Diploma or GED
• Valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle, and current auto insurance
• Pass comprehensive background checks and clearances
• Availability to work every other weekend, holidays, and on-call rotation
