Are you nurturing, patient, and passionate about helping infants and toddlers grow and thrive? At Mustard Seed, we’re looking for Infant/Toddler Teachers who brings warmth, energy, and a love of learning to our youngest learners.

You’ll play a key role in creating a safe, loving, and developmentally rich environment where babies can discover the world around them — one smile, song, and milestone at a time.

• Provide loving, individualized care for infants ages 6 weeks to 18 months and toddlers ages 18 to 23 months
• Build strong and trusting relationships with families
• Implement lesson plans aligned with the Creative curriculum
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom environment
• Monitor and document developmental milestones
• Communicate daily with families through our digital app
• Follow Maryland State Department of Education (MSDE) Office of Child Care regulations for licensed child care centers

• Hold a 90-Hour Infant & Toddler Certification (45-Hour Child Growth & Development + 45-Hour Infant/Toddler Methods & Materials)
• Hold a CDA Credential (Child Development Associate) in Infant/Toddler or higher degree in Early Childhood Education
• Have completed college coursework in child development, early childhood, or related field with MSDE approval

• Must be at least 19 years old
• Must pass a Maryland State and FBI background check & fingerprinting
• Must have a current CPR/First Aid Certification (or be willing to obtain within 90 days)
• Prior experience in a licensed child care center preferred
