Jardeg is recruiting a Recycle Waste Coordinator to join the Cenovus Upgrader Lloydminster maintenance team. This role will be accountable to the Cenovus Senior Supervisor Maintenance Trades.
Responsibilities- Control access to the Bulk Waste Storage area (recycle yard and hazardous waste yard), coordinate waste disposal with bin providers in a timely manner, oversee organization and separation of various waste streams, label and distribute barrels for various waste streams in individual plants, and work with the Environmental Management System Group (EMS) on the disposal of waste products.
- Work with various contractors on managing the waste streams, recycle yard, and bulk waste storage lay‑down areas, including scheduling of disposal and recycling of waste materials.
- Operate a skid steer and other related equipment for loading/unloading various items, perform snow removal, and coordinate those activities as needed.
- Respond to spills.
- Apply knowledge of applicable environmental regulations and other relevant information.
- Recycle Technician experience
- Skid Steer operating ticket
- Working knowledge of Excel, Word, and SAP
- CSTS 2020 certification
- Energy Safety Canada H2S Alive certification
- Energy Safety Canada Fall Protection certification
- WHMIS (2015)
- Satisfactory completion of a pre‑access drug and alcohol test
- Ground Disturbance Certification
- Post‑secondary education related to conservation and reclamation or environmental management or equivalent/transferable combination of education and experience
