We are looking for a Cash & Banking Administrator to join us in Llangefni Monday.

We’re the Huws Gray Group and we’re made up of a number of brands, including Huws Gray, Hirebase, Civils & Lintels, The Timber Group, PDM, NDI and Anglia Tool Centre to name a few.

Up and down the UK, our branches are serving and supporting our local communities with all their building material needs and our central support teams are supporting them along the way, but we couldn’t do this without the right people, so why not join us?

We rely on our Cash & Banking Administrators to help process the day-to-day cash operations of the Group, ensuring that all cash transactions are processed accurately and efficiently.

Responsibilities
  • Reconciling daily banking transactions on the Group’s banking platforms and serving as the point of contact for all queries relating to cash and banking.
  • Reviewing and raising queries where discrepancies arise, and liaising with branch colleagues and other members of the finance team for escalation and clearance.
  • Bank account reconciliations across all entities each month.
  • Maintenance of bank accounts, documents and relevant information within the Group.
  • Supporting the Cash & Banking Supervisor and wider Finance Team with ad‑hoc tasks, assisting in project work where applicable and being involved in daily, weekly, monthly reporting as necessary.
  • Providing excellent support to the business to get the job done.

We know that you are more than just a CV and embracing everyone’s individuality is what makes us great as a team.

Qualifications
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to multi‑task and work effectively under pressure.
  • A keen eye for detail, with accurate and timely data entry skills.
  • IT literacy, particularly Microsoft Excel.
  • Good organisation and prioritisation skills.
  • Strong team player with a can‑do attitude, along with the ability to work on own initiative.
Benefits
  • Competitive salary.
  • Company and performance‑based bonus scheme.
  • 24 days annual leave plus bank holidays.
  • Pension scheme in line with auto enrolment.
  • Death in Service cover.
  • Staff discounts on items purchased from all nationwide branches.
  • Career progression and personal development opportunities.

We can give you plenty of training and equip you with the tools that you’ll need to succeed as a Cash & Banking Administrator.

Proud member of the Disability Confident employer scheme.
