We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, self-motivated person to provide targeted personal support within St John Lloyd School and the community for children and young people aged predominantly 10 - 18 years and their families. The worker will engage with young people who will commonly be affected by a broad range of issues associated with family poverty, and those at risk of becoming NEET (not in education, employment or training).

The worker will adopt a range of strategies, approaches and the use of effective networks to provide bespoke, needs based support and intervention for young people in need or at risk, within their own communities.

DBS level: An Enhanced with Barred List Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check will be requested for this job. It is an offence to apply for the role if the applicant is barred from engaging in regulated activity relevant to children or adults at risk

Welsh language level - verbal Level 3 - You will need a good level of conversational Welsh. Reasonable support can be provided on appointment to reach this level
