Job Title: Referral Co-ordinator
Location: Fostering Solutions Midlands
Contract Type: Permanent
Interviews will take place on 19th or 20th March 2026 at our Stafford Office so please make a note of these dates.
We have a fantastic opportunity for motivated and enthusiastic Referral Coordinator to join ourteam at the Fostering Solutions Midlands office in Stafford, who will part of making positive contributions to changing the lives of children and young people.
About the GroupIts official, we have been rated as a Great Place to Work 2025!
With over 20 years experience, National Fostering Group is the largest independent children's fostering group in the UK with a community of over 2,500 foster carers.
As a Group, we work with Local Authorities to provide the highest quality of care for children and young people. All of our fostering agencies are officially recognised by Ofsted, Welsh and Scottish regulators as either ‘Outstanding’or‘Good’ which we are extremely proud of.
About the RoleWe are seeking a motivated, enthusiastic, and conscientious team player who has a passion to be part of changing children’s lives for the better!
Based in our Fostering Solutions Midlands office, you will work within the Referral Hub whereby your role is to safely match Looked After Children to our pool of dedicated foster carers (across three Fostering Agencies within the region; Fostering Solutions, Jay Fostering and Sunflower Fostering).
This is a busy, demanding, customer-facing role requiring effective multi-tasking, sound decision‑making, and excellent communication skills. You will need to be assertive, proactive, and confident in building strong working relationships with colleagues, Foster Carers, and Local Authorities, while delivering excellent customer service under time pressures.
Ideally, you will have experience or understanding of Looked After Children and/or Local Authority structures, though this is not essential.
You must be self‑motivated, able to work both independently and as part of a team, and remain calm under pressure. As the role involves discussing complex and sometimes traumatic cases, emotional resilience is essential to manage sensitive information professionally and maintain a child‑centred focus.
