Overview
My client a successful and well respected food manufacture in South Wales are seeking a Butchery Manager to oversee and lead the production within a fast paced meat processing environment.
Reporting to the Operations Manager you will be responsible for all operations and execution of plan, as per customer demand, adhering to health and safety on site.
ResponsibilitiesYou will have excellent communication and leaderships skills. As a ‘people person’ you will manage, develop and lead your teams.
You will be KPI focused based on safety, quality, productivity, cost, delivery and people development.
Skills and experience- Working within a Butchery environment
- Short Interval Control
- Familiar with yield measurement systems
- Focused on continuous improvement, CI efficiencies and LEAN processes
- Budgetary/ financial awareness
- Leadership skills, keen to develop, educate and drive change from within
- Management of team, including, supervisors and operatives
- Days - Monday to Friday
- 7am-8am start, 40-42 hpw with flexibility as needed for the business
- Salary dependant on experience
