Job Purpose and Role
:
We are looking for a proactive Finance Assistant to join our busy and growing finance team. You will support the Finance Manager and provide efficient, customer-focused financial and administrative support across the organisation.
This is a fast-paced role requiring strong organisation skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage competing priorities while delivering high-quality service to internal teams and external partners.
Key Responsibilities- Process incoming and outgoing invoices accurately and on time
- Support banking, payments, and account reconciliations
- Assist with payroll preparation, timesheets, and staff expenses
- Help prepare VAT returns and financial reports
- Maintain accurate financial records (manual and electronic)
- Respond to finance queries from colleagues and external stakeholders
- Distribute financial documentation to relevant managers
- Liaise with facilities and other departments to ensure accurate information flow
- Maintain confidentiality and comply with company policies, Health & Safety, and Safeguarding standards
- Highly organised with strong time management skills
- Confident communicator with good interpersonal skills
- Customer-focused with strong attention to detail
- Able to work effectively in a busy team environment
