Aspiring Teaching Assistant

Overview

We are currently seeking an Aspiring Teaching Assistant to work in schools across the Llanelli area
. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about supporting children's learning and wellbeing, looking for a long-term, full-time role ( 5 days per week) for the right candidate.

• As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting both pupils and teachers within the classroom. Day-to-day responsibilities may include:
• Supporting pupils with learning on a one-to-one or small group basis
• Assisting the class teacher with lesson preparation and classroom activities
• Helping children stay focused, engaged, and motivated
• Supporting pupils with Additional Learning Needs (ALN) where required
• Encouraging positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing
• Helping with classroom organisation, displays, and learning resources
• Supervising pupils during break times, lunch times, and transitions
• Supporting pupils  social, emotional, and personal development
• Following safeguarding and child protection procedures at all times

• Coaching or sports leadership
• Care or support work
• Childcare or childminding
• Youth work
• Personal or family experience with children

• No previous school experience is required - just enthusiasm, patience, and a willingness to learn
• Happy to complete the full vetting and safeguarding process with our vetting team
• Available to work Monday to Friday (full time)
• Reliable, professional, and positive attitude
• Keen to develop skills and build a career in education
