Video Editor; Short form

We are looking for a short‑Form Video Editor to work with our client.

YOU MUST HAVE EITHER A BACKGROUND IN SCIENCE OR A STRONG UNDERSTANDING AND INTEREST IN SCIENCE FOR THIS ROLE

• We are looking for an experienced short‑form video editor to work with our client, working across Tik Tok, Instagram, and You Tube.
• We create content on scientific breakthroughs, deep dives into discoveries, and emerging deep‑tech, helping a large, curious audience understand complex ideas clearly and quickly.
• You’ll be joining a small, dedicated team spread globally, working together in a fully remote setup.

• Edit short‑form videos for You Tube Shorts, Tik Tok, Instagram, and other platforms.
• Work from a range of inputs.
• Turn complex science and technology topics into clear, engaging short videos.
• Source visuals and references when needed to support explanations.
• Occasionally support long‑form edits.
• Deliver consistently high‑quality work under tight deadlines.

• Demonstrable experience editing short‑form video (portfolio or showreel required).
• Experienced within Adobe Premiere, Adobe After Effects, and Blender.
• Comfortable working with scientific or technical topics.
• Strong editorial judgment: pacing, structure, clarity.
• Up to date with short‑form trends and formats.
• Able to work independently in a remote environment.
• Reliable, detail‑oriented, and comfortable with fast turnarounds.
• Formal science background is a plus, but not required.
