National Key Contractors Manager - Specialist Interiors Contractor

Location: Fully Remote - UK Projects

The Role:

We are looking for an experienced National Key Contractors Manager to join a leading construction-focused business. You will be responsible for positioning the company as a preferred supply chain partner to Tier 1 main contractors and fit‑out specialists across the UK. This is a national role, working closely with Divisional Managing Directors to secure framework agreements, develop long‑term relationships, and support early involvement in key projects.

• Build and maintain strategic relationships with main contractors across multiple sectors.
• Secure preferred supplier status and inclusion on national frameworks.
• Support early engagement in prospects and projects with business development teams.
• Gather feedback on pricing and performance from contractors and share with Divisional MDs.
• Monitor enquiry volumes, market trends, and success rates.
• Arrange meetings, CPDs, and events to strengthen contractor partnerships.
• Negotiate commercial terms and service level agreements with Tier 1 contractors.

• Proven experience in supply chain or procurement leadership within the construction sector.
• Track record of developing main contractor relationships and securing preferred supplier positions.
• Strong understanding of fit‑out delivery models (CAT A, CAT B, turnkey).
• Established network of Tier 1 contractor contacts.
• Excellent commercial negotiation and contract management skills.
• Outstanding communication skills and ability to influence senior stakeholders.
