Position: Fleet Administrator - Mon-Fri

Overview

Owens Group is a fast developing, multi-site organisation with a large diverse customer base, making this an exciting opportunity. Owens Group is looking to recruit a Fleet Administrator to join the team in its Dafen Depot.

Job Purpose

To provide administrative support to the Fleet Department based at our Dafen Depot.

Work Location
  • Dafen SA14
Salary
  • £27,200 per annum + Overtime rate for Saturdays
Shift Pattern
  • Monday to Friday
  • Every 1 in 4 Saturdays (Rota Dependant)

The ideal candidate

The ideal candidate should have good computer skills, able to work unsupervised, team player, have a CAN DO attitude and pro-active in their approach to tasks.

Specific Key Accountabilities
  • Ensure all vehicle records are compliant
  • Keep all vehicle records up to date in hard copies and in electronic format
  • Apply for VED licences and ensure these are kept up to date
  • Input technician's job sheet information electronically and in a timely manner
  • Action Vehicle Breakdowns in a timely manner to prevent excessive downtime
  • Keep vehicle history in an orderly system
  • Deal with all queries in a timely manner
  • Ensure Tachograph calibrations are "kept in test"
  • Raise all necessary PO's as and when required
  • Undertake other duties as directed by the company.

  • Dealing with record systems i.e. time sheets/vehicle history

  • High level of interpersonal/communication skills
  • Proactive and able to work with a minimum of supervision
  • High level of organisation and administration ability
  • Excellent computer literacy and experience working with standard IT office software
  • Time Management skills
  • Ability to manage several projects at once whilst balancing conflicting priorities and requests
