Temporary Teaching Assistant Level 2 x 8 Posts

Location: YSGOL Y GOGARTH – Day/Residential Special School for pupils with Special Educational Needs (275 on roll, age range 3 to 19), Nant y Gamar Road, Llandudno, LL30 1YE

Start date: 2nd March 2026 (Fixed term contract until 04/04/2027).

Salary: Grade G02, NJC point 4 - 5: £18,743 - £19,039 per annum.

Hours: 32 hours per week – term time + 5 training days.

• Support access to learning for pupils.
• Provide general support to the teacher in the management of pupils and the classroom.
• Positive, energetic, flexible and child‑focussed approach.

• Experience of working with pupils with a range of Additional Learning Needs is desirable.
• The ability to communicate and work through the medium of Welsh is desirable.

• Subject to a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) disclosure.
• Must register with the Education Workforce Council prior to commencing employment.
