Renal Dialysis Unit

What does the role involve?Being a dialysis nurse requires commitment and passion along with the skills and competencies to juggle the technical nursing aspect whilst giving holistic care. You will be working autonomously, responsible for the assessment of care needs and the development, implementation and evaluation of care for dialysis patients with chronic kidney disease or acute kidney injury. You must also be able to take charge of the unit in the absence of the manager, once orientation and competencies are complete.
Llandrindod Wells Unit operates 6 haemodialysis stations, serving up to 24 patients.
This is a full time role of 37.5 hours a week. Current days are working various shifts between 06:30am to 18:30pm Monday to Saturday.
