Are you a Mechanical Plant Fitter, Plant Engineer or similar looking to join a business that can offer training on diagnostics and electrical fault-finding, enabling you to become a well‑rounded Engineer? Do you want a workshop‑based role for a business that can progress your career with promotions into Field Service Engineering? Founded over 70 years ago, this family‑run business specialises in road maintenance and associated engineering.

They pride themselves on their excellent client and staff retention and have ambitions to double their headcount in the coming years.

• Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on plant equipment including chippers, rollers, JCBs and telehandlers.
• Receive on‑the‑job training in diagnostics, electrical fault‑finding and complex reactive fault‑finding.
• Work in a workshop environment, 7 am – 5 pm, Monday to Friday (47.5‑hour week).
• Optional overtime available to increase earnings.

• Plant Fitter with mechanical background.
• Experience with heavy, diesel equipment desirable.

• Training on diagnostics & electrical fault‑finding.
