Shift Administrator - Float Pool

An Opportunity to Join our Remarkable Care Team as a Shift Administrator in the Nursing Administration Department awaits YOU.

To provide house-wide coverage for two 12-hour shifts, variable day and night shifts.

Night Shift

The Shift Administrator functions in a management position 24 hours / 7 days per week as a supervisor for staff and patient care as well as administrative support and resource person for a designated shift. The primary responsibility is to support Department of Nursing Operations during assigned shifts. They coordinate placement of all patients from the admit process and all transfers from unit to unit on all units throughout the hospital.

• Education: Registered Nurse; BS/BSN preferred
• Licensure: State of Michigan licensure
• Training and
  
  Experience:
  
  Previous proven experience in clinical area; previous proven experience and experience in management, either first line or shift supervision work
• Computer Experienced Required.
• Job Knowledge: ACLS and BLS certified
