Base pay range: $1.00/yr - $1.00/yr

• Provide constant communication between Engineering and Operations.
• Support Operations by providing technical support and engineering data.
• Support department by providing feedback, data and other information needed to process parts.
• Design and install equipment.
• Develop detailed layouts for equipment and processes.
• Utilize CAD Software, specifically AutoCAD, to design and modify blueprints and electrical schematics.
• Read and interpret blueprints to ensure accurate production setups.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and improve manufacturing processes.
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues during production runs.
• Perform machine setups for production runs and ensure proper functionality.
• Utilize GD&T principles to ensure product quality and compliance.
• Conduct PLC troubleshooting to identify and resolve issues.
• Experience with PPAP process and ability to develop and implement new processes.
• Experience with machining and/or cold heading processes a plus.
• Contribute to product design and development, providing valuable insights and recommendations.
• Calculation of production and material costs.
• Review & recommend continuous improvements to manufacturing processes and efficiencies.
• Identify need for established work procedures and standardized methods.
• Document and communicate work procedures and standardized methods as needed.
• Identify need for training and communicate need to appropriate manager.
• Perform all other duties as assigned, instructed, or directed.
• Use, understand, and execute LEAN/5S, HSE standards.

• Plant ERP system (currently Plex)
• Proficient in all Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
• AutoCAD 2D and 3D software
• Minitab

• CNC machining/manufacturing knowledge
• Cold heading knowledge
• Understanding of quality instruments
• Quoting
• Production planning
• Blueprint reading
• CAD software proficiency

• Thorough understanding of mechanical and electrical engineering.
• Experience working in an ISO/IATF environment and conducting audits.

• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret blueprints, schematics, common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents.
• Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community.
• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from all levels of staff, vendors, senior management, and public groups.

• Bachelor’s Degree in mechanical engineering or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Two (2) to five (5) years of relevant work experience in CNC machining and/or cold heading/manufacturing; eight (8)+ if no degree in related field.
• Experience setting up CNC equipment and writing programs.
• Knowledge and understanding of quality instruments and how to use them.
• Experience with business side of operation (quoting, customer relations, production planning, etc.)
• Demonstrated effective interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proficient PC skills in a Windows environment.
• Proven negotiation and contracting skills.
• Demonstrated effective organizational and analytical skills.
