Delta Gear is an aerospace company, an AS9100 and ISO
9001 registered facility manufacturing gear products, prototype/production, and transmission builds. We provide contract gear and CMM inspection services, and are a NADCAP approved non‑destructive testing facility offering Magnetic Particle Inspection (MPI) and Nital Etch.

2nd Shift Position:
Monday – Friday, 4:00 pm – 12:30 am (1–2 hrs daily overtime, some weekends).

• Plan machining by studying work orders, blueprints, engineering plans, materials, specifications, reference planes, surface locations, and machining parameters, interpreting GD&T.
• Set‑up lathes by installing and adjusting three‑ and four‑jaw chucks, tools, attachments, collets, bushings, cams, gears, stops, stock pushers, and tramming heads.
• Load feed mechanism by lifting stock into position.
• Perform basic maintenance of CNC lathes.
• Maintain equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements, following manufacturer instructions, and troubleshooting malfunctions.
• Maintain continuity among work shifts by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs.
• Document actions by completing production and quality logs.
• Maintain safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations.

• High school diploma or GED.
• CNC related certificate or degree a plus.
• Able to lift 25–40 lbs.
• Ability to use hand tools.
• Experience with duel spindles, turn/mill, spindle transferring, and/or 3, 4, or 5‑axle machining a plus.

• Must be able to lift 25–40 lbs.
• Frequent standing, twisting, and bending.
